The crew from PGFD Truck 831 eneded up with something that wasn’t on their grocery list when they made a stop for food Wednesday at a store in Calverton, Maryland. They found a naked man on the tip of the aerial ladder. Working with PGPD, firefighters maneuvered the ladder and eventually the man came down for a meeting with the police officers. It ended with a tasing.

COLUMBUS, Ind. – (AP) – A sheriff said methamphetamine has been found at a southern Indiana home where four people were killed over the weekend, and investigators are considering the deaths drug-related.
Bartholomew County Sheriff Mark Gorbett said Tuesday that no arrests have been made since the bodies were found in Waynesville, a small community outside Columbus.
Gorbett said investigators found several shell casings and a knife used in the attack. He said a rifle was recovered, but detectives don’t yet know whether it was used in the shootings.

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says 81 people were arrested on drug-related charges after a lengthy investigation by local and state authorities.
The KBI said in a news release Thursday that arrests were made Tuesday and Wednesday in and around Junction City, Manhattan, Grandview Plaza and Ogden. Many of the arrests involved conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine.
Investigators seized a variety of narcotics and 17 firearms. The KBI says several children were placed in protective custody after the arrests.

NAYPYIDAW – China and five Southeast Asian nations vowed Thursday to boost cooperation in the fight against illegal drugs, which they warned posed a “significant threat” to the region.

The pledge came at the end of a meeting of ministers or representatives from Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam in the Myanmar capital Naypyidaw.

CERES — Local drug agents say they have made the biggest bust anyone can remember, seizing 290 pounds of methamphetamine Tuesday along with $66,000 in cash. Two men were arrested.
According to the Modesto Police Department, agents with the Stanislaus Drug Enforcement Agency, the Modesto Narcotics Enforcement Team and Homeland Security Investigations served a search warrant at a home on Hardy Court in Ceres after receiving an anonymous tip.
During the search of the residence Tuesday afternoon, agents located the meth in several storage containers.

Indonesia – Jakarta Police stormed an East Jakarta residence on Monday, acting on evidence that the occupants were small-time crystal methamphetamine dealers. Instead officers found a wooden box containing a staggering amount of marijuana.
“There are about 500 kilograms of marijuana in it,” police anti-narcotics head Adj. Sr. Comr. Johanson Ronald Simamora said.

Washington Park, IL (KSDK)- Police say they responded to a bizarre home invasion in Washington Park, Illinois.
They say they found a naked, crack smoking suspect inside the home of a great grandmother.
“I thought this man was going to kill me,” said 61-year-old Shirley Snipes of Washington Park.
She says she was taking her dogs out on Wednesday afternoon around 4:30. She left the door unlocked for about fifteen minutes. When she came back inside she discovered someone was in her bathroom.

Officials: Two major Austin drug rings busted

Central Texas law enforcement officials said they have busted two elaborate drug distribution networks based in Austin, one of which operated out of an East Austin body shop and had strong ties to a powerful Mexican cartel.
The investigations recovered more than $1 million in proceeds and large amounts of cocaine and marijuana, but most alarming, U.S. Attorney Robert Pitman and other officials said at a news conference Thursday, was the ample amount of methamphetamine — more than 75 kilos.
